Halloween 2008....FINALLY

So, we got a little behind on our personal posting. Sorry friends. Anyway, on Oct. 31st we hosted the 2nd Annual Prairie Village Halloween Bash. We invite our lovely friends and all of their broods over to our house. We start out by trekking down to the Village for trick-or-treating, and then it's back to our house for chili with all the fixins, lots of other yummies, cider, beer and waaaaay too much candy. This year the weather was an unusually warm 70 degrees, so we moved the party outside to our garage and driveway. It was perfect, and we were able to set up a little photo booth in our garage. Of course Jason was a little preoccupied with all the sugar, so he failed to get any photos of all the pretty tables, candles, garage decorations, etc. All my hard work, and no record of it. Annual 30 in 30 Special

It's that time of year again! Colder temperatures, warm comfort foods, holiday cheer, and the annual 30 in 30 Special! This is a once a year event at Jason Domingues Photography, and you don't want to miss it!

What: 30 minute photography sessions for the first 30 people/families to sign up
When: November and December 2008 only
Where: The location of your choice
How much: $250
What you will get: 30 minute session (family, kids, pets, whatever you want), up to 30 fully edited images from your session on a high res disk with a full print release (a $500 value), and your choice of either one box of 25 custom designed holiday cards with the photo of your choice, or 1 8x10 and 2 5x7 prints

PLUS, the first lucky 30 people to sign up for these spots will be entered into a drawing to receive 3 full length photography sessions of your choice to be used anytime in 2009. Each of those sessions will also include a complimentary high res disk of up to 30 images from the session (a $1500 value). Examples of types of sessions available are kids, family, high school senior, baby, Un-Bridal, etc.

Important Details: If you choose the holiday card option, the deadline for shoots is December 5th, and the cards will arrive at our office by December 12th. Pick up times for cards will be the evening of December 12th, and all day December 13th and 14th. We have been informed by our printer, that if there ends up being any delays with printing, it will be no more than one day. If you select the loose print option, your shoot may take place anytime up until December 31st.

Spotlight on my friends in my world...

I believe there are reasons for everything that happens to us in this messed up world. I also believe that God puts people in your life at the right moment! I feel really blessed that I have the friends that I do in this world so I decided over the next few months I will be introducing them to you.

Allison and I share a wide variety of friends that are married and have kids, single (with and without) girlfriends, gay, straight, black, white, red, brown, blue, green!

The reason for the lead up is for our first friend I would like to introduce to you....( I feel like there should be a story to explain why I chose Todd first.)

Todd is one of those friends that no matter what kind of day you are having...he makes you feel like you want to be a better person. His laugh, the way he thinks about life, (to all you photographers reading this - Like Jesh De Rox, but way way way way tamer! I love ya Jesh don't take offense to that). I know if I am having a bad day or good day I can call him and he always seems to make the problem I have not really a problem anymore.

So in short. Todd and Jessica (the other half of the dynamic duo) thank you for being in our lives.
